The family tale is that grandpa ate cats for survival. Survival against the ideals idolized by teenagers on the internet.

He never denied the rumors. Took the fur to the grave like a real man. 

In 1932, His mother abandoned the family in Poland. I gained her strong intuition.

On the other side of the family is Debbie. Debbie died in an institution, and her successor died in an apartment. They were both very angry women, but you can only admire the ability to take full control of your fate, even at the detriment of the whole family. Her successor left me buckets of costume jewelry.

Wujek Bodgan and Wujek Teddy used to play the harmonica and accordion for me. I’ve always had my own band.

But no one plays polka. Men just want to make sound for the sake of it. Although there is nothing inherently wrong with doing something for no purpose, no one plays the accordion and I don’t go out anymore. 

My dad was in a band in highschool, and now they tour the world without him. Though I don’t think he cares much, he likes the Avett Brothers more and didn’t have an urge to cheat on my mom. 

He sweat out the love around him and I emerged from the residue.
